Sorry, Sold Out We take our smallest, sweetest chestnuts and slowly dry them. By drying slowly we allow the chestnuts to cure fully, converting their starch to sugar. We then grind them into fine pastry flour using a genuine native granite stone bur mill. The result is a high quality, sweet flour - ready to use. | | Chestnut flour may be substituted for up to 1/3 of wheat flour in most recipes. | | Chestnut flour imparts a rich, sweet flavor you can not get any other way (no matter how much sugar or butter you add!). | | Granite stone bur mills run cooler than metal bur mills, thus avoiding excessive heating of the flour, with subsequent loss of flavor and nutritional value. | | Granite stone bur mills leave no artificial residues possible with some composite | | stone bur mills. | | Ours is nothing but 100% pure chestnut flour! |
